MAY 25, 2024 - THL OPENS!!!!
Twain Harte Lake is a seasonal and member's only lake. Generally, it is open to members and members' guests Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend.
SPECIAL NOTE:
Prior to 2022, once Members paid their annual dues we were provided unlimited electronic admission tickets into THL.
As of 2022, the Lake fell under new management and it was decided, by some on the board, that THL would raise our annual dues, and limit each member's electronic ticket admissions into the Lake.
We are not provided with enough admissions for our own family's use, plus all of our guests; hence, the new $3.00 ticket fee paid to Laura Nobis prior to being placed on the Lake's registration.
WE ARE NOT MAKING ANY MONEY off of the $3.00 fee. It is paid to THL once we register you on their portal & buy your $3 entries.
This was not our choice, and we are sorry for any confusion for those who've rented from us in the past, or those who've been to the Lake prior to 2022, and are seeing this new Electronic Ticket Fee for the first time.

- Member's guests will have access to THL upon a confirmed reservation at Peace of Your Harte Cabins.
- You must send me your personal email address, and phone number so that I am able to properly add your name via the Lake's new online guest registry portal.
- We provide you access under our name, we do not pay for your entry fees. Please see below as the fees have changed.
- Lake Fee Total is $11.00, per person, per entry.
- $8.00 per person, per entry paid at the Lake's gated entry.
- $3.00 per person, per entry paid to Peace of Your Harte for Electronic Ticketed Entry Fee (as of 2022). The Lake is now charging Members this extra $3.00 for Guest Entry Fees - this $3.00 is non-refundable once paid since we have to buy these Entry Admissions in advance when we add your name to their Guest Registration, and the Lake will not refund us once purchased. This fee is paid via Zelle, CashApp, Venmo.
- The confirmed name on your AirBnB reservation will be emailed to the Lake prior to your arrival date.
- The exact number of guests in your confirmed reservation will be emailed to the Lake.
- Your exact dates of stay will be emailed to the Lake.
- You may enter the Lake on the day of your arrival to our cabin.
- You will have access to the Lake during the full paid dates of your stay.
- Your departure date is not included - however, you can add that date by buying extra tickets from me. You must inquire prior to your arrival to add your departure date so that I have ample time to buy the tickets and notify the Lake.
- Pets are not allowed into THL.
- Rules and Entry Instructions are located at the cabin.

I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THE LAKE'S BOARD DECISIONS.
They base their decisions off of Covid Guidelines, forest fire danger, and other circumstances that may or may not be human controlled.
I ONLY PAY MY ANNUAL DUES, FOLLOW THEIR GUIDELINES, AND I DO MY BEST TO GET YOU IN.
YOU MUST FOLLOW ALL THEIR GUIDELINES, AS WELL.
OR, I RISK LOSING ALL OF MY PRIVILEGES.
2023/24 OFF-SEASON IS CLOSED: Labor Day -thru- Memorial Day
****As an alternative to Twain Harte Lake, Pinecrest Lake is about 20-25 minutes directly up HWY 108. It is free, pets are welcome in designated areas, the hike around the lake is suitable for most adults, children and pets. I HIGHLY recommend renting a boat. View their 2023 marina equipment and rates HERE. IT IS GORGEOUS! And our family's favorite spot on the mountain!
